Hi guys,

I am planning a climbing holiday in Poland this August. I have been looking around on the internet to get some first impressions and most of the stuff I found was realy impressive. Now for better planning I want to buy a climbing guidebook but unfortunately I don't speak any polish thus I thought the Jura 1-3 books would be good cause there are some informations in english.

This is where I need your help - I thought about staying in Krakow so we can mix climbing with culture and nightlife. Can you tell me how far the good climbing areas are away from Krakow by car and which guidebook (Jura 1/2/3) would be the most usefull for me.

Or do you recomend another area of poland for my first trip (Zakopane?, Broumovské stěny etc.)

Some Informations that might be usefull:
We will start our Trip in Vienna and have 10 days time in August. My onsight level is 7a/VI3 my girlfriend onsights 6c/VI2. We both like protection with bolts and would love to try sandstone climbing but limestone, granit etc is also very welcome.
